Jamie Lynn Spears' daughter Maddie has been involved in an accident.
TMZ is reporting that Maddie, who is eight-years-old, was involved in an ATV accident while out on a hunting expedition. Sources say that the vehicle Maddie was in flipped and she got trapped under water.
The niece of music star Britney was airlifted to hospital where she is said to be in a serious condition.
Jamie Lynn's father told
ET, "All I can say is pray for our baby Maddie."
Meanwhile, an official statement from the Spears family reads:
"The details the media are reporting surrounding the incident regarding Jamie Lynn's daughter Maddie are incorrect.
