Janet Jackson ‘Pregnant With First Child’ at 50

She recently postponed her latest tour to concentrate on starting a family. Now it looks like pop icon Janet Jackson has got her wish.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the 49-year-old is said to be expecting her first child with her husband, Wissam Al-Mana.

Just one month ago, Janet told her Twitter fans there had been 'a sudden change' to the touring schedule:

"I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour.” “Please, if you could try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can."

The news will come as the perfect birthday surprise for the Together Again star, who celebrates her 50th in two weeks. Having sold over 160 million records, we think she deserves a little time to concentrate on her family.
