Janet Jackson (50) Debuts Her Baby Bump In New Pictures

Sources revealed that Janet Jackson was expecting her first baby back in May, but it wasn't until this week that the star finally confirmed the happy news. Jackson revealed all to People magazine, posing in a series of stunning shots wearing a white bodycon dress, black rimmed glasses and a chic cardigan, all of which appear in the latest issue. The star, who is pictured cradling her bump in the images, told reporters:

'We thank God for our blessing.'

Earlier this year the singer told her Twitter fans there had been 'a sudden change' to the touring schedule because she and her husband Wissam Al-Mana were hoping to have a child together:

"I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour.” read the tweet. “Please, if you could try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can."

With 160 million record sales under her belt, there is no doubt the Together Again star, who celebrated her 50th birthday this year, will be looking forward to some down time with her new arrival.
