She postponed her tour last year to concentrate on starting a family. Now it looks like pop icon Janet Jackson has got her wish.

The super star has welcomed her first child with her husband, Quatari businessman Wissam Al-Mana.

A representative for the singer (50) told People that the couple was “thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world” on Tuesday.

Fans have pointed out that Eissa means Jesus or ‘God is salvation’ in Arabic.

The rep also confirmed Jackson “had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.”

The singer’s friends and family have been wishing the couple well online, with messages pouring in from TJ Jackson and Asa Soltan Rahmati, who is expecting her first child with Jermaine Jackson Jr. this year.

Janet married Al Manna in a secret ceremony in 2012, keeping the news to herself until a year later.

Having sold over 160 million records throughout a high profile career, we think she deserves a little privacy to concentrate on her family.
