Janet separates from her husband – 3 months after welcoming their baby

Their first baby, a son, was born just three months ago - on January 3.

But sadly it is now being reported that Janet Jackson and her husband of five years, Wissam Al Mana, have split. At the time of Eissa's birth, Janet attracted a lot of attention for her age: she is 50 and the baby is her first. A source told today's edition of the Mail On Sunday: "Sadly, Janet and Wissam have decided that it wasn't working and to go their separate ways." Most parents will agree that while a child can ultimately bring you closer together, those early weeks and months of adjustment and sleep deprivation are tough on any relationship. The same source added: "They’re both busy people but determined to be good parents, even if they’re apart." Musician Janet is reportedly basing herself in London for the foreseeable future. Her husband is a Qatari billionaire and they married in 2012. They duo announced her pregnancy last October and upon Eissa's arrival a statement confirmed that Janet had had "a stress-free healthy delivery".
