Irish influencer Jennifer Wrynne has opened up about how her family is helping her through her cancer diagnosis.
Earlier this summer, the mum-of-four revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Thankfully, Jennifer's cancer is treatable, but she is still feeling nervous, scared, and overwhelmed.
Luckily, the mum has an incredibly strong network to get her through this harrowing time.
She recently told her followers that her children have been helping to motivate her when things feel overwhelming.
During a Q&A, one follower asked the mum how she was coping with motherhood and her diagnosis.
"While these little ones are full of fun (and divilment!), they’re definitely the best motivators every day,’ she said. ‘I’ve no choice other than to just get up and get on with things.
"Eight little eyes peering into me in the bed each morning with big smiles on their faces – They’ll pull me through if nothing else," she shared.
Jennifer told her followers about her cancer diagnosis in June.
The mum-of-four confirmed the harrowing news on Instagram.
She wrote: “Breast cancer. A journey I never imagined I’d be going on… but I’m soaking up every cuddle before it begins.
“The past few days have been a complete blur. Everything has happened so quickly — and I’m heartbroken to share that I’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer.”
The influencer said she’s grateful that she found the lump, that it was caught early, and that the nurse in her local GP acted so early.
She urged her followers to check their breasts regularly.
"I’m embarrassed to admit that, at 36 years old, I had never checked mine. I only found the lump by complete accident in the shower. I was so lucky. Early detection really does save lives.”
