Jesy Nelson underwent emergency surgery earlier this month
Singer Jesy Nelson has given an update on her unborn twins following her emergency surgery.
Earlier this month, the mum-to-be confirmed that her twins are at risk of twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome.
Jesy underwent emergency surgery and has been recovering in the hospital since her operation.
She updated her followers on Mother’s Day with positive news.
“We are still in hospital, so I’ve been recovering,” the singer shared.
“But, we have some amazing news. The TTTS has cleared up, the operation was a success, which is just absolutely incredible.
“We are so, so, lucky to have the most amazing doctors. Basically, the situation that we’re in now is my cervix is very, very, short, so I can’t leave the hospital because my waters could break at any point and I’m still very, very, early.”
The mum explained that she can’t leave the hospital for some time.
“I can’t leave the hospital until I’m a certain amount of weeks. Every week we’re praying that the babies stay in my belly, but yeah, we are just so grateful that they are still here and they’re still growing strong and we’re just so grateful.”
Jesy Nelson said they’re feeling blessed following the successful operation.
“We’re in such a blessed, blessed situation to even be able to make this video and share this good news,” she added.
