Harry Potter will go down as one of the most influential book series of all time and now one mum is saying that it is responsible for the birth mark on her daughter’s head.
Jo Mak, a publicist from Toronto, tweeted JK Rowling this week to explain that she read the novels during her pregnancy and her daughter Sofia now has a Harry Potter-esque lightning bolt mark on her head.
She wrote: “I read all the #HarryPotter books while pregnant. This is my daughter Sofia with her #harrypottermark.”
The author responded, saying: “Well, I’m not going to apologise because I think she looks beautiful!”
The mum then received a number of lovely messages from Harry Potter fans, congratulating her on her new arrival.
