Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith announced the arrival of their baby daughter

Congratulations are in order for Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson!

The couple, who tied the knot in secret after first meeting in 2018, have welcomed a baby girl into their family. Issuing a brief statement to People this week, representatives for the couple confirmed the new arrival, stating: "Both mother and baby are happy and healthy." Earlier this month 33-year-old Jodie, who recently starred in Queen & Slim, shared a stunning photo of her baby bump on Instagram, telling fans and followers she'll never forget this period in her life.

While the pair enjoy a relatively low-key relationship in Hollywood terms, Jodie indulges fans with a few tributes to the Dawson's Creek star every now and again. Indeed, the British actress called on the words of the late Pablo Neruda last Valentine's Day, dubbing Joshua the man who 'sees her soul and holds her heart'.
