‘Just so tired’ Andrew Maxwell breaks down in tears on I’m A Celeb, admits he considered leaving

“I’m just a little bit overwhelmed right now.”

Andrew Maxwell broke down in tears during last night's I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here after admitting that he had considering leaving the show. The Irish comedian and TV personality said that he was overwhelmed by the experience and that he hadn't been sleeping properly since entering the jungle. He added that he feared he had "hit a wall" with the show and questioned whether he would be able to continue. “I was up in the Leaders' Cabin, I was chatting to James and Jacqueline and I was just so tired, I just hit a wall," he said last night. “I honestly thought that I was gonna walk out, but I haven’t. When you’re tired, you just say ‘Have I done the right thing?’” Speaking to Jacqueline Jossa about how he has been feeling, Andrew broke down in tears before the pair were joined by James Haskell. Both comforted Andrew, telling him: "Everybody has a bad day" and "You’d never leave, I can tell that you’re just tired.” They added that Andrew had been sleeping on the floor for six nights and that two weeks was a long time for anybody to be away from their family. “I’m just so tired," he said, later. “I’m just a little bit overwhelmed right now.” But last night's show wasn't all upset and exhaustion, because Nadine Coyle decided to go ahead and give everybody a bit of a laugh by doing her best Gillian McKeith impression.  The Girls Aloud singer pretended to faint when told she would have to take part in a bushtucker trial, leading to much delight from Ant and Dec, the campmates, and anybody else who happened to be watching at home.
