A brilliant new documentary from TV3’s Karen Koster starts tonight.

Mammy Guilt: True Lives is a very personal and emotionally-honest documentary, where Karen explores the guilt parents experience juggling work and children.

Starting at 9pm on TV3, we’ll get an insight into Karen’s private life with her two small children, and one on the way. Despite her perceived glamorous red carpet life, Karen constantly struggles with the guilt of being a working mother and worries she is doing neither job as well as she could.

Karen will explore the juggling that many parents experience as part of daily life and looks at the myths and fears around childcare.

As part of the documentary, she meets all kinds of working mums including those who live away from their children for work, childcare workers and a home-schooling mum.

With lots of tears, laughter and many parents worst fears confronted, Karen brings us on her own journey of being a working mum.
