Kate Middleton Has Revealed What Happens When George And Charlotte Stays Over With The Queen

Wouldn’t it be nice to indulge in a little palatial sleepover from time to time?

Yeah, we think so too.

We don’t all have great-grandmothers who live in palaces, though, unfortunately.

Little George and Charlotte of Cambridge, however, do, the lucky little ducklings. And in the ITV documentary Our Queen at 90, their mum gave an adorable little insight into life at the palace – and how the Queen spoils her little great-grandchildren whenever they come to stay.

In the interview, Kate Middleton goes on to admit how delighted the Queen was to become a great-grandmother again last May when little Charlotte was born.

“She was very pleased that she was a girl. The Queen is very fond of Charlotte and takes an interest in what she gets up to,” the Duchess could reveal.

The mum-of-two then went on to describe what sleepovers are like for George, 3, and Charlotte, 1, when they visit their great-grandmother at the palace – and it’s super cute.

“Every time we stay with her, she leaves a little gift for George and Charlotte in their rooms. I think that just goes to show her love for [the children] and for the family,” Kate revealed.
