The Duchess of Cambridge visited Evelina Children’s Hospital with Prince William.

Kate Middleton was just named Patron of the London children’s hospital. The Duchess paid a visit to the hospital yesterday where she fully immersed herself in activities with the children and made a great impact.

Evelina London cares for children and young people from before birth, throughout childhood and into adult life. The specialist NHS hospital is the second largest provider of children’s services in London. It prides itself in being a “hospital that doesn’t feel like a hospital” and has themed floors, a conservatory, rooms with views, sunlight and fresh air.

In a speech the Duchess made on the day, she said it was “such a pleasure” to meet with patients and their families and praised the staff at the hospital for providing outstanding care.

In a video released by Kensington Palace, Kate and William were seen interacting with the children, chatting and doing artwork. Kate was helped by four-year-old Cruz Brown on the day to unveil a special banner.

The Duchess said she looked forward to the “many happy years ahead” working with the hospital.

Kate was also presented with a bouquet of flowers on the day by a little girl who is being treated in the hospital.

As always, she looked stunning in a bottle green polka dot L.K. Bennett dress. Kate once again proved her natural ability to communicate with children and we love her for it.
