The dress will be auctioned at Whytes, Molesworth St.

A maternity dress worn by Jackie Kennedy will go under the hammer in Dublin in May.

The silk dress was worn by Jackie, one of the world’s most stylish women, when she was pregnant with John F. Kennedy Junior in 1960.

It was one of a number of mementos gifted by the former First Lady to her children’s nanny, Maud Shaw, who died in 1985 leaving her much sought-after collection of memorabilia to her relatives.

The dress will be auctioned as a single lot by Whyte’s Auctioneers in Dublin’s Molesworth Street. A collection of 79 photographs taken during Ms Shaw’s time with the Kennedy family from 1957 to 1965 will also be sold on the day.
