A shooting in a Kentucky high school has left one person dead and seven wounded.
The shooter opened fire in Marshall County High School earlier today.
The culprit is now in police custody.
Local governor Matt Bevin has urged the public not to “speculate” about the details of the incident.
He said:
“Tragic shooting at Marshall County HS. Shooter is in custody, one confirmed fatality, multiple others wounded.
“Much yet unknown… Please do not speculate or spread hearsay. Let’s let the first responders do their job and be grateful that they are there to do it for us.”
