Kerry Katona’s surprise confession about marriage to Brian McFadden

Kerry Katona left daytime television viewers stunned today when she claimed Loose Women "ruined her marriage" to Brian McFadden.

The ex Atomic Kitten singer, who divorced the Westlife crooner in 2006, first appeared on the chat show when she was 22. And as Loose Women celebrated 18 years on air, she returned to reminisce about her time there. But the Loose Women panel appeared speechless when the singer seemed to slam the show. Kerry and Brian tied the knot in 2002, but he filed for divorce in 2004 after an affair with Australian singer Delta Goodrem. https://twitter.com/loosewomen/status/906130216766119938 The reality TV told the audience to sit back and enjoy a "story" as she reminisced about her time on the show when she was 22 years old. The 37 year old recalled:

"I was Kerry McFadden, married to Brian, when I appeared on Loose Women aged 22.

"It was always my Brian this and that, and then one day Brian said to me: 'I’m recording a new single with someone called Deltra Goodrem- come with me' and I was like 'I can’t come, I’m on Loose Women'."

She joked in the shock confession:

"Can you imagine if I didn't come on this show?! I'd have still been married!

"Loose Women ruined my marriage!"

But when the Loose Women panel asked if she would still be married to the crooner now, Kerry didn't hold back. She frankly replied:

"No, if someone falls out of love with you there’s nothing you can do."
