A teenage boy is in a critical condition after falling from the bonnet of a car in Co. Kerry.
The boy was rushed to hospital but is reportedly in a critical condition.
According to reports, the young boy suffered severe injuries after he fell from the bonnet of the car.
Gardaà in Co. Kerry are conducting a major investigation after the incident.
They confirmed the accident took place in Tralee shortly after 1 am on July 11th.
Sources told The Sun that the teenager was taken to the local Kerry University Hospital.
However, he was taken to Cork University Hospital after his condition worsened.
He is currently in a critical condition.
A Garda spokesperson stated: “The collision involving a pedestrian and a car occurred at approximately 1.10 am on Brewery Road.
“The pedestrian, a male in his teens, received serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at Cork University Hospital.
“A technical examination of the scene is taking place this morning.”
No arrests have been made thus far, but Gardaà are eager to talk to witnesses.
Gardaà have called on anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
Gardaà have also asked anyone with footage, including dashcam footage, to come forward.
