Khloe rejected Thompson’s proposal.
Khloe Kardashian has confirmed that Tristan Thompson proposed to her before his latest cheating scandal was made public.
The mum-of-two opened up about the proposal in the new episode of The Kardashians.
Khloe explained that something about it just didn’t feel right and she knew she had to say no.
Speaking to sister Kim, Khloe explained why she rejected the father of her children.
“What I said, is that I need to make sure this is a totally different relationship because I want to be proud to say I’m engaged to anyone.
“And that’s why I said, ‘you know, I’m not comfortable accepting this right now, because I’m not excited to tell my family.'”
“I’m not ever going to accept something and give someone false hope—and I said that to him.”
Kim only knew about the proposal because Tristan reached out to her before it.
“I asked him months later, the night after I thought it happened,” she told Khloe, “and he’s like, ‘Oh, I did it months ago. She didn’t tell you guys?'”
Khloe has been involved with Tristan since 2016. However, their on-again-off-again relationship most recently came to an end after Tristan cheated on Khloe again.
The sportsman has cheated on Khloe multiple times, including when she was heavily pregnant. He also cheated on her with Marlee Nichols and fathered a child with her. He knew Nichols’ was pregnant when he and Khloe started the surrogacy process.
The pair are parents to two children, a 4-year-old daughter True, and a 2-month-old son.
