Kristen Bell shares a big update about Frozen 2 and we can’t wait

Things are beginning to snowball.

Kristen Bell shared a big update about Frozen 2 this week - and we couldn't be more excited. The actress will be reprising her role as Anna in the hotly anticipated sequel to the 2013 animated movie. And, following her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, it looks like things are moving along well with the movie. She told Ellen:

“I have recorded the movie. “There will be edits before it’s finished but I know the songs, I know the story, it’s very good — I can’t say much more than that or I’ll get in trouble!”

She won't be the only one of the main cast members returning for the sequel. Idea Menzel, who voiced Elsa for the original film, is also coming back; as are Josh Gad as Olaf and Jonathan Groff as Kristoff. Meanwhile, the film's directors - Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck - are also returning, as are songwriting duo Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. And while Disney have remained pretty tight-lipped on what the movie would be about, fans have speculated that Elsa will be getting a girlfriend in the new movie. Jennifer Lee told The Huffington Post earlier this year:

"Where we're going with it, we have tons of conversations about it, and we're really conscientious about these things. "For me ... Elsa's every day telling me where she needs to go, and she'll continue to tell us. "I always write from character-out, and where Elsa is and what Elsa's doing in her life, she's telling me every day. We'll see where we go."
