Tributes paid to girl (11) who died at water park in England
"Kyra was so kind"
Tributes have been pouring in for 11-year-old Kyra Hill who tragically died at an English water park on Saturday, August 6th.
Kyra was attending a birthday party at Liquid Leisure in Windsor, Berkshire over the weekend. However, things took an unexpected turn when the young girl went missing during the day out.
Kyra went missing at around 3.55 pm but wasn't found until 5.10 pm. She was removed from the water at the inflatable assault course and rushed to Wexham Park Hospital. Despite the doctor's best efforts, the 11-year-old was pronounced dead a short time later.
Witnesses said the waterpark was overcrowded when Kyra went missing. One woman told Sky News that the staff had no plan in place for an incident like this.
"There was a ridiculous amount of people on the inflatables," she said.
"It was just chaos, people were falling in and jumping off, it would have been hard to keep track of."
