This was mainly because she was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum during each pregnancy.
The mum-of-three said she was "really sick" but was grateful for her maternity team who helped her through it.
She said: "It was utterly rotten. I was really sick."
Kate added, "I wasn't eating the things I should be eating and yet the body was still able to take all the goodness from my body and grow new life.
"I think that is fascinating," she shared.
Because she suffered so much during pregnancy, Kate admitted she didn't mind labour as much.
The Princess of Wales shared, "Because it had been so bad during pregnancy, I actually really quite liked labour.
"Because actually it was an event that I knew there was going to be an ending to," she explained.
"But I know some people have really, really difficult times, so it's not everybody," Kate said.
