The Princess of Wales says she “quite liked labour”

The mum gave birth to her three children in the Lindo Wing.

The Princess of Wales has revealed she “quite liked” labour. Her revelation may shock some, but we’d probably say the same if we gave birth in the Lindo Wing.

A normal delivery package for the first day will set you back £5,900.

The modern, private rooms have an en suite, as well as a radio, TV and fridge.

Mothers will also be given a choice of a daily newspaper every morning.

Meals are prepared by a “team of talented chefs” and you can even order celebratory high tea after giving birth.

I mean, it sounds like heaven to me, no wonder the mum of three didn’t mind giving birth.

Speaking about her birth experiences, Kate admitted she found pregnancy harder than the actual birth.

This was mainly because she was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum during each pregnancy.

The mum-of-three said she was “really sick” but was grateful for her maternity team who helped her through it.

She said: “It was utterly rotten. I was really sick.”

Kate added, “I wasn’t eating the things I should be eating and yet the body was still able to take all the goodness from my body and grow new life.

“I think that is fascinating,” she shared.

Because she suffered so much during pregnancy, Kate admitted she didn’t mind labour as much.

The Princess of Wales shared, “Because it had been so bad during pregnancy, I actually really quite liked labour.

“Because actually it was an event that I knew there was going to be an ending to,” she explained.

“But I know some people have really, really difficult times, so it’s not everybody,” Kate said.

“No pregnancy is the same, no birth is the same.”
