Everyone loves Johnny.

It’s that time of year again when we gear up for the Eurovision competition. In the run-up, The Late Late Show will celebrate all things Eurovision with special guest Johnny Logan.

He’ll be on the show tonight to reminisce about the contest that launched his career and he’ll be sharing stories behind his triple victories with What’s Another Year, Hold Me Now and Linda Martin’s Why Me? He’ll also give his thoughts on what it takes to win the contest these days and how he thinks Brendan will do when he represents Ireland in this year’s competition in Kiev.

Also on the show will be a singsong with various celebrities and personalities taking to the stage to give their best rendition of Eurovision classics. Included are Marty Whelan, Mairead Ronan, Crystal Swing’s Derek Burke and Moone Boy’s Rónán Johnston.

It won’t just be limited to Eurovision with horse trainer Jessica Harrington joining the line-up. Fresh from her million euro winning streak taking home the Irish Grand National, Irish Gold Cup, Cheltenham Gold Cup and Punchestown Gold Cup.

We’re delighted to see that comedian and 2fm presenter Bernard O’Shea will also be on the show. He’ll be telling viewers about the ten things he wants to see the back of in Ireland in 2017. If you’re familiar with Bernard’s humour then you’ll know this will be hilarious.

The Late Late Show will leave the studio as Ryan meets some of the walkers taking part in Pieta House’s Darkness Into Light as they prepare for this year’s event.
