The show's host, Ryan Tubridy, took to the airwaves today on his radio show and reassured fans that the show is "100% happening." It's set for air on November 27 which would (hopefully) be the last week of lockdown.
Ryan made the statement after a mother texted in saying her daughter was very worried the show wouldn't happen. He told the concerned mum: "You've got to tell her that this is 100% happening."
"Me and all my friends, and not to mention a few elves, have been working pretty hard," he said.
"And as soon as I finish the show today, I'll be going out to do more work on it. And I'll be doing it tomorrow, and I'll be doing it the next day, and I'll be doing it pretty much every day until the end of November."
TV is a bit different these days with social distancing being a must on air, so we don't know how the show will work but Tubridy confirmed he will be there doing what he does best.
"If I'm standing there on my own doing a jigsaw, there will be a Toy Show this year," he said. "So fear not, and we look forward to it immensely."Explore more on these topics:
