She marked her birthday with a sweet message to her late daughter.

TOWIE star Lauren Goodger has penned a sweet message to her daughter Lorena to mark her birthday, as well as the Queen’s funeral.

Lauren’s baby girl passed away shortly after birth earlier this summer. Today, on her 36th birthday, she shared that she hopes Queen Elizabeth II is looking after her.

The reality TV star posted a picture of herself on her Instagram grid and captioned it: “It’s My Birthday in the morning (midnight) on the same day we lay Our Beautiful Majesty The Queen to rest (God Rest Her Soul) … Maybe something quite special this birthday (…) up there with my Lorena.”

She went on: “This year has been one year I will never forget for all the pain and heartache and lessons that I trust in the universe, but  my best present every year is waking up with my @babylarose.x. Lorena is always with us.

“Thank you all for the support .. Another year done , here’s to next year.”

Shortly after losing her daughter, Lauren told fans that she would be seeking a post-mortem in order to gain clarity on what happened.

She told The Sun: “I went into hospital thinking I would come home with a baby girl but I came home with nothing. Lorena was a healthy baby and it was a textbook pregnancy.

“This is why I am having an autopsy. I need to understand, medically, how she died for my own sanity.”

Previously, Lauren had said that she was “broken” after losing the little girl.

“I am broken,” she wrote on Instagram. “I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet. Larose she is my rock that’s getting me through this or I wouldn’t survive… I will never ever get over this but I will learn how to live everyday with Lorena in my heart she will be with me always and I will be with her again one day.”
