She says she is now in a “better place mentally”.

Former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger has shared a positive health update six months after losing her daughter.

Lauren’s second child Lorena passed away shortly after she was born. As she coped with the loss, Lauren said that her own physical health suffered, and she ended up losing almost three stone as she wasn’t able to eat.

Thankfully, she has since shared that she is “healthy again”, and has gained some of that weight back.

She told OK Magazine: “I lost nearly three stone after I lost Lorena because of the stress. I didn’t eat.

“I’m now eating again and I’ve put a stone back on because I’m being more healthy.”

Lauren added that she is also in a “better place mentally”, and that this year, she is focusing on herself, and getting herself “back on track”.

The reality star announced the death of her baby with an emotional post on Instagram.

At the time, she said that she was “broken”.

Lauren wrote: “She was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister.

She said she can’t explain how hard it is to lose a baby.

Three months ago, Lauren launched a fundraiser for the Lullaby Trust, a UK-based charity that raises awareness for sudden infant death syndrome. The organisation also offers emotional support for bereaved parents.

Launching it, she penned: “Support me in Baby Loss Awareness Week (9-15th) as I mark the memory of my precious baby daughter Lorena, taken too soon.

“In memory for all the other mothers, fathers, families, siblings, and friends in grieving, who have also lost their most precious gifts.”
