Lea Michele’s 2-year-old son hospitalised with ‘scary health issue’

Lea Michele’s son Ever has been hospitalised with a ‘scary health issue’.

The mum has been forced to step away from performing in Funny Girl on Broadway due to the family emergency.

She confirmed the devastating news on Instagram.

The former Glee star confirmed that she won’t be able to perform as she needs to be with her son.

She didn’t go into detail about her son’s health problems, but said it was a ‘scary health issue’.

Alongside a photo of her holding Ever’s hand in the hospital, the mum wrote, “I’m so sorry but unfortunately I will be out of @FunnyGirlBwy today.”

Lea continued, “We are at the hospital with our son dealing with a scary health issue that I need to be here for.”

“I’m so sorry. Please send us some love and strength.”

Lea’s 2-year-old son Ever is holding a teddy bear in the photo.

The actress missed both Funny Girl performances on March 22nd.

Due to Ever’s hospitalisation, Lea could not perform in Funny Girl.

Actress Julie Benko took over from the mum at the matinee and evening shows.

Funny Girl tweeted:

“Lea Michele will be out of both the matinee and evening performance today, Wednesday, March 22. Julie Benko will be your fabulous Fanny!”

Lea gave birth to her son Ever in August 2020. He is her first child with her husband Zandy Reich.
