Some sad news reaching us this afternoon.
At least four people have died in an avalanche at the ski resort of Tignes in France which swept away nine people in its path.
That is according to sources at the
BFMTV channel.
Tignes is a commune in southeastern France's Savoie department in the Rhône-Alpes region and one of Europe's most popular ski resorts.
Rescue services and tracker teams with dogs are currently on the site while two medical helicopters are on alert. Authorities say there is little chance of finding anyone alive
