Baby boy dies after freak accident in Leeds
A police investigation is currently underway.
A 1-year-old boy has tragically died after a freak accident in Leeds.
According to reports, the infant fell from the window of a seventh-floor flat.
The heartbreaking accident happened on Saturday, July 2nd.
The boy fell from the window shortly after 1 pm in the afternoon.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the accident and then transported the boy to a nearby hospital.
However, despite their best efforts, the boy died a short while after arriving at the hospital.
West Yorkshire Police are now investigating the accident.
They're treating the incident as a "sudden unexpected death in childhood".
The ambulance service contacted the police at 1.25 pm on July 2nd.
Police confirmed the boy fell from a flat in Saville Green in Leeds.
"The one-year-old boy was taken to hospital for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead a short time later."

An investigation is now underway and police are making inquiries.
