Many parents will know that it’s the most unexpected gift that becomes a highlight for children on Christmas morning. You can try so hard to get the perfect gift and they’ll be transfixed with something else.
So, Liam Payne has revealed that he won’t try to win over baby Bear with any elaborate gifts this Christmas present and, instead, will go for the ideal gift for a baby – wrapping paper.
And not just any old wrapping paper – shiny wrapping paper.
He explained to Metro, “It’s first Christmas as a dad. Best advice I’ve been given is just buy wrapping paper and make it really, really shiny because they’ll only be interested in that.”
Poor Liam also said that he’s feeling the ultimate FOMO at the moment, missing his girlfriend Cheryl and Bear, while he’s on tour. He said:
“The house has just been done up all Christmassy, there’s a lovely feel around at the minute.
I’ve been away for a little while, I’ve only seen pictures and stuff so that’s been the most difficult thing about touring.”
