Did you double-tap?

It was a good’un.

With over 800 million people using Instagram per month, it is clear that the social media app reigns supreme over many others.

And with so many monthly users, you can only imagine how many likes some pictures can rake up.

Well, today Instagram released their year-in-review statistics and it seems there was one picture in particular that had users excited.

From our favourite filters to the most-popular hashtags, the review shared an in-depth look at the app and how we use it.

However, when it came to what had up double-tapping, there was one picture in particular that won the internet.

Sorry, Kim, it wasn’t you.

And while you might already know that Ms Selena Gomez is the most-followed person on the app with 130 million+ followers, she did not take the top spot.

No, this year it was Queen Bey who nabbed herself the title.

And the picture that did it? Her pregnancy announcement, of course.

On February 1, Beyoncé announced she was expecting twins in a post that sent everyone into a tailspin.

“We have been blessed two time over,” read the caption on the famous post.

“We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes – The Carters.”

Yep, that oughta do it.

11.1 million likes later and Beyoncé pregnancy announcement has become the most-liked post on Instagram in 2017.

Probably not her biggest success story of the year, but it’s the only one we could say we were a part of.
