Louise Redknapp has broken her silence on their reported split

She appeared on TV this morning.

Jamie and Louise Redknapp's relationship has been under scrutiny for the last few months. In June reports began to surface about their relationship being under strain, with Louise living separately to Jamie. Then, their social media profiles began to give hints about their split, with the most recent one coming from Jamie. But, with all the stories and reports about the couple, neither had actually spoken or answered any questions about their relationship, until now. According to The Sun, Louise has broken her silence on the matter after being asked by Eamonn Holmes on This Morning about their relationship. While she didn't confirm the split, she referenced the 'hard time' they're going through and how they are focusing on their children right now. She said:

"I think that it has been so heavily documented and of course we all go through hard times. My priority and his priority is our children and protecting them and love them and putting them first and that’s what we are focusing."

Eamonn then asked if work had helped her deal with the situation and she said:

"I think going back to work has been a real saviour for me. Doing Strictly, it does something. For me it was all about performing and to go back on stage every night and get the opportunity again.”

Ever since the news broke that there was a strain on their marriage, it was suggested that it stemmed from her time on Strictly and how she had become distant from Jamie with the new boost in her career.
