Mamas and Papas issue urgent recall of children’s shoes over safety fears

The store posted the product recall on their website.

Mamas and Papas have issued an urgent recall of three pairs of shoes because of a potential safety hazard.

Sharing the recall online, the store said there was a “potential problem with the tassles/pom poms”.

They say that they fear they could become detached from the shoe and become a choking hazard to young children.

The shoes were sold online and in-store from June 2017 until October of this year, with almost 100 pairs being sold during that time.

Customers who have purchased the shoes in question are being asked to stop using them immediately and to return them to any Mamas and Papas store.

Those who return the items will receive a full refund.
