Man, 32, and woman, 24, charged over death of Co. Tyrone toddler
The child died last Friday in the Northern Irish home.
A man and a woman have been charged over the death of a two-year-old girl in Co. Tyrone.
The toddler, named locally as Ali Jayden Maguire, died on Friday, August 6 after sustaining serious head injuries at a home in Park Avenue, Dungannon.
In a statement, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said a 32-year-old man has been charged with murder and perverting the course of justice, while a 24-year-old woman has been charged with causing or allowing the death of a child and perverting the course of justice.
Both are set to appear at Omagh Magistrates' Court today, Tuesday 10.
The man was arrested hours after the child was taken to hospital on Friday night.
On Sunday, police arrested the woman in connection with the death.
It is reportedly believed that the toddler did not live in the house where the incident occurred and instead lived in a separate estate with her mum and brother.
