A man has died followed a house fire in Kells, Co Meath.
Gardaí have confirmed to
RTÉ, that the fire is believed to be accidental and they are not treating it as suspicious at this time.
The man, who is in his 40s, died while others in the house managed to escape uninjured.
The alarm was raised shortly after 8am today when the house set fire in the town. Two adults and a few children were rescued.
The scene has been preserved and a technical examination will follow.
