A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Two-year-old Venessa Siatka had been enjoying the Easter  sunshine with her family when tragedy struck and she was hit by a car near the North Road. The infant was taken to Temple Street Hospital but lost her fight for life overnight.

Gardaí have called on any members of the public who may have seen a green Toyota Corolla (reg: 02 D) being driven “erratically” in the area, particularly near the Phoenix Park Visitors’ Centre, to call Cabra Garda Station on 01 666 7400 or contact the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
