Matthew McConaughey used Zoom to host a bingo night for senior citizens and it’s the wholesome content we need right now.

Together with his family, the Oscar-winning actor made weekly bingo very special for the residents of The Enclave at Round Rock Senior Living.

According to reports, staff had put in a request to McConaughey last September and during this period of quarantine, he was able to make it happen.

His mother Kay and wife Camila were on hand to help and two of his three children also joined in for the fun.

Not only did he host the game, he also took part in a Q&A afterwards, where residents of the Texan assisted living community were able to ask questions.

Matthew chatted about his family heritage and favourite drink and by all accounts, the evening was a major success.

Last month, he shared a video on Twitter where he encouraged people to take care of each other during the coronavirus crisis.

He spoke of the important values that will help with the “green light” that will emerge in the aftermath of Covid-19.

“Values of fairness, kindness, accountability, resilience, respect, courage, we practice those things right now when we get out of this, this virus this time might be the one time that brings us all together and unifies us like we have not been in a long time so yes, let’s see if we can get some lemonade out of this lemon that we’re in the middle of, turn the red light into a green light…just keep living”.
