Meghan Markle is voicing a Disney documentary about elephants

Meghan Markle is set to voice a Disney documentary about elephants.

Disneynature's Elephant is an original movie and will land on Disney Plus on April 3. This is Meghan's first solo project since stepping down as a senior royal although rumours surfaced earlier this year suggesting she was set to work on a project with Disney. The news was announced  via the Disneynature Twitter account. "Disneynature’s Elephant, an Original Movie narrated by Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, starts streaming April 3, only on #DisneyPlus".

Elephant will premiere on the same day as Dolphin Reef, a documentary narrated by Natalie Portman. Disneynature and the Disney Conservation Fund are also due to donate to Elephants without Borders, a charitable organisation Meghan and Harry have worked closely with. Elephants Without Borders is located in Botswana, said to have special meaning to the couple as it's one of the first places they visited together when they started dating. They joined with Dr Mike Chase, a member of the EWB team and helped with the conservation effort during their trip, as you'll see below.
