Turns out that Meghan Markle will NOT reprise her role on Suits

It's not happening, people.

Yesterday, it was reported that Meghan Markle might return to Suits. NBC Universal apparently said they'll pay a multi million dollar donation to a charity of Meghan's choice if she makes a cameo appearance. Apparently, they were so into the idea that they were even willing to write the Duchess's baby bump into the script and shoot all her entirely brief and not-going-to-happen scenes in the UK. According to The Mirror, a senior producer said:

“We could be done in half a day or less. “No final figure has yet been arrived at but negotiations are likely to be opened in the very near future. "I’ve heard sums ranging from two to six million being kicked around and that sounds a lot – but it would be one of the biggest marketing coups in TV history.”

Well, that senior producer was lying lads because there are no plans for Meghan to come back onto the show. An insider of the show confirmed to HarpersBazaar.com that "the show has not made a multi-million dollar charity donation offer to Meghan to return for a cameo. There are no plans for her to return to the show." Well, that's that then.
