Did you wake up to snow?

Be very careful out there.

Met Eireann has issued another two status orange weather warnings this morning as Ireland is in for more snow and frost.

The country is waking up to white gardens and icy roads, with the weather forecaster urging people to be careful.

It said that the snow will lead to slippery paths and treacherous roads, however so far, gardaí in the midlands say all national primary routes are passable.

A snow and ice warning remains in place for Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Longford, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Galway, Mayo, Roscommon and Tipperary.

Meanwhile, the forecaster is also sharing pictures of people waking up to winter wonderlands outside their front doors:

The warnings will stay in place until 11pm tonight because, as the Independent described it, snow and ‘ice bombs’ fell last night and this morning.
