This was adorable.
Michael Bublé helped a couple in the Late Late Show audience get engaged last night – and it was all too sweet.
The Canadian singer appeared on the chat show last night to talk about his new album, as well as addressing the rumours of his retirement.
But after he clarified that he is definitely not retiring, he gave one young couple in the audience a surprise they would never forget.
The 43-year-old told Ryan Tubridy:
“I don’t mean to interrupt, I’m not hijacking [the interview]. I have a serious issue with a person in your audience today. There is a guy I see right now in the audience, his name is David O’Reagan… “

When the host suggested Bublé go over to meet the couple, he was only happy to oblige. David joked to the crooner that his girlfriend of six years, Ashley Kiely, had told him she was going to jump on the Haven’t Met You Yet singer “if she gets within three feet of him – so be careful!”
Although she was quick to add: “I actually can’t move now so I’m not going to do it.”
Taking a ring box from Bublé, David got down on one knee and said:
“She’s a very special women to me and to make the moment just a bit more special…”
She happily said yes, before being presented with a bunch of flowers from Bublé.
And the singer made one last quip before heading back on stage to perform, jokingly telling Ashley:
“God, you’re so much out of his league!”
He was later joined on stage by David Walliams – who also appeared on The Late Late Show – to serenade the couple with a duet of When I Fall In Love.
