Dancer Michael Flatley has been diagnosed with cancer.
The 64-year-old's family shared the news in a heartbreaking statement.
They confirmed that Flatley had been diagnosed with "an aggressive form of cancer".
Michael's family revealed he has had surgery since his diagnosis.
They praised the dancer's doctors for taking such good care of him.
The statement read;
"Dear friends, we have something personal to share, Michael Flatley has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.
"He has undergone surgery and is in the care of an excellent team of doctors.
"No further comments will be made at this time.
"We ask only for your prayers and well wishes. Thank you. Teamlord."

Fans of the Riverdance star sent loving messages after the news was shared.
