Molly-Mae admitted she was feeling low this Christmas

Molly-Mae Hague has opened up about spending her first Christmas as a single mum following her split from Tommy Fury earlier this year.

In a recent vlog on her YouTube channel, Molly-Mae told her followers she wasn’t feeling as festive as she usually does.

She said she took a break from filming because she had been struggling with her mental health.

“I haven’t really been vlogging because I have been feeling quite heavy, mentally heavy, over the last few days.”

“I’ve been struggling a little bit more… I don’t really know why. Well, I do know why,” she said.

Molly-Mae said she didn’t want to pretend to be okay in her vlogs so she chose to take a break.

“If I had picked up my camera it would have been fake happiness for Christmas and I would never come on and act a way that I’m not feeling.”

The mum said she has been feeling rather low but wanted to open up about it because Christmas isn’t always a happy time of year.

“I’ve just found the last few days quite challenging mentally. I have been quite down, to be honest, and I haven’t felt like picking up my camera.”

“Hence why I am coming on now and telling you that I’ve been feeling a little bit low,” she shared.

“People say that Christmas can be a really sad time of year and I feel that I’ve been so blessed that I’ve never had to feel that way at Christmas, it’s always been a really positive time for me.”

“But this is the first Christmas where I can be like, ‘I really understand what people talk about…’ When you’ve got things going on in your personal life it can really bring it all up and make it feel ten times worse,” she added.

The mum split up with her long-term partner Tommy Fury this August. The couple are co-parenting their daughter Bambi.

Despite her struggles, Molly-Mae said her daughter Bambi helped put the magic back into Christmas this year.
