These images were captured earlier this morning and show a man and two women removing NO posters from Thomas St, Dublin 8.
The illegal act was captured by a passerby and this morning representatives from both sides of the campaign have condemned the actions of the unidentified individuals.
This actions hurt the YES camp as it undermines the very values that the YES campaign are championing; tolerance and fairness. It gives the unfortunate impression that the YES side need to resort to petty tactics and that they are in some way unwilling to engage in a respectful debate. The very things that outspoken YES campaigners like Irish Times columnist Una Mullaly have criticised the NO camp of doing.
It's very difficult to debate the referendum when the No side will talk about everything but the referendum! But people can see through it.

So far the No campaign's referendum has been about: Leinster V Toulon, surrogacy, Irish Water. Kind of excited to see what's next! Kanye? — Una Mullally (@UnaMullally) April 23, 2015
Roll on referendum...
