What this means in euros, parents, is for instance, on the Maxi Cosi Axiss Plus car seat in Nomad Black, you are now only paying €349.99 instead of €499 – saving you €150.
If you are interested in the popular Britax Römer Dualfix seat, you can now pick it up for just €469.99 instead of €549.99 – which is a saving of €80.
As with every car seat purchase, Mothercare has their in-house car seat experts in every store who will not only fit new car seats for free, but also check existing ones – all for nothing and as part of their service.
The 101 car seat experts that Mothercare have employed across their stores receive consistent and regular training by Mothercare and their manufacturers, and will happily provide free advice in-store, online and on social to assist parents and guardians select the car seat best suited to their child, their car and lifestyle.

A baby grows rapidly and as their weight and height changes, hence the need for a safe and comfortable car seat.
INFANT CAR SEAT:
An infant car seat is suitable from birth to 29lbs. They are rearward facing, lightweight and portable, with a carry handle. Many models are compatible with ISOFIX bases.
COMBINATION CAR SEAT:
A combination seat is suitable from birth to 40lbs. It is to be used rearward facing from birth to 20lbs and forward facing from 20lbs to 40lbs. The seat has an integral harness and is secured with an adult seatbelt.
FORWARD FACING CAR SEAT:
Suitable from 20lbs to 40lbs, the forward facing car seat is adjustable to various recline positions. Many models are compatible with ISOFIX or an ISOFIX base.
EXTENDED REARWARD FACING (ERF)
Extended Rear facing (ERF) is the safest way to transport your child and helps to prevent head and neck injuries. Mothercare seats in this category provide additional support for your child until they reach either 18 or 25kgs.
HIGH BACK BOOSTER WITH HARNESS:
Suitable from 20lbs to 79lbs, the high back booster with integrated harness is forward facing and uses an integral harness from 20-22lbs and is used with a vehicle belt from 33-79lbs.
HIGH BACK BOOSTER WITHOUT HARNESS:
Suitable from 33lbs to 79lbs, the high back booster without a harness is forward facing, secured with an adult seatbelt only and most models come with ISOFIX attachments.
BOOSTER SEAT:
Suitable from 33lbs to 79lbs, the booster seat is forward facing, secured by an adult seat belt and is a very useful backup option for grandparent’s car or unexpected situations.
