A video-blogging mum in the U.S. has defended herself after admitting to breastfeeding her son and having sex at the same time.
Tasha Maile, who posts videos on her Youtube channel Tasha Spiritual Mama, has over 500,000 followers.
She’s mum to three boys, Josiah, Soul and Love, and is a strong advocate of breastfeeding and a vegan lifestyle, reports the Sun.
In a video from 2015, she told viewers that she would have sex with her husband at the time while breastfeeding her son.
“From what I remember, I remember sleeping with my ex-husband and my son was on me breastfeeding and we would have sex from behind or something.
“There’s nothing bad about making love at all, ever.”
She returned to the topic in a recent video to clarify what she meant.
“My three-month-old would not allow me to put him down at all. So he was attached to me 24/7,” she said.
“So we did it whilst he was sleeping next to me or on me.”
Some viewers found the idea of breastfeeding and having sex at the same time unsettling.
“I wouldn’t want my children to be watching me and my husband make love. That is extremely personal,” wrote one.
But others applauded Tasha for her honesty.
“Tasha we love you forever and think your doing great at what your doing and being the best mom that you can be:) don’t worry about any negativity or haters, and keep these videos coming.
“Don’t stress yourself or listen to people not looking at your true message.. just live your life. there will always be people who hate because they hate themselves and want to make everybody else miserable.”
