Mum Catches Creche Worker Breastfeeding Her Child Without Permission On CCTV

You place a huge amount of trust in those caring for your baby while you are at work. So imagine how Kaycee Oxendine felt when she saw footage of what appears to be a staff member holding her three-month-old son to her chest on surveillance video. Reports by ABC7 suggest that Kaycee said that the woman had asked if she could breastfeed her child because he was sick and she had a child of her own. But she refused. Twice. Kaycee, who is a teacher in the same playschool, said when she saw the footage she felt hugely guilty as well as angry:

"As a mom, you've taken something from me, because I wasn't able to defend my child. I wasn't there."

A co-worker who was in the room at the time also reported the incident and the staff member no longer works at the facility. Kaycee claims because her son is lactose intolerant he became sick after he was fed by the woman. She wants her to face criminal charges:

"To me, a criminal act was committed against him. Not only did you put your breast to my son, you also made my son sick because he's lactose. So you've put something in his body that his body can't digest."

The incident is believed to have happened in North Carolina. No charges have been filed.
