Locals are doing anything they can to help the victims.

After the devastating floods in Texas, those in surrounding areas are doing anything they can to ease the suffering of the families affected.

One woman who is playing her part is Danielle Palmer.

The mum-of-three said she was desperate to find a way to help the families who were struggling after the floods and is now being praised for her extremely generous offering.

Danielle said it was her son’s speech therapist who approached her about donating some of her extra breast milk, so she went home and filled a cooler for those in Texas.

“We gave 1,040 ounces and we figured that an average baby gets three ounces so that would be 346 feedings,” Danielle told News 4.

Danielle’s milk will go to mothers who lost their frozen supplies when the power went out or to those who aren’t able to produce their own milk during this extremely stressful time.
