Mum and foodie connoisseur Yvonne Connolly is taking over our Christmas show!

There’s no cooking quite like mums cooking!

So you’ll be glad to hear we have none other than Yvonne Connolly joining our inaugural Facebook Live Christmas show - aptly named The Her Christmas Cracker! Encompassing all that is merry, festive and food related (yum!) The Her Christmas Cracker is set to be outstanding and will be aired on Facebook, come December 18. Yvonne who is a mum to Jack (18), Missy (16) and Ali (12) is not only an absolute pro when it comes to tackling all the different food preferences and tastes on Christmas Day, but she is a master at ensuring nothing goes to waste and is cooked in perfect time!

Yvonne honed in on those marvellous culinary skills in 2013, staring on Celebrity Masterchef and has been whipping up scrumptious bites and feasts on TV3’s Six O’ Clock Show ever since! So expect delicious eats and nibbles perfect for adding to your very own Christmas spread! Oh, but that’s not all we have planned… Presenting with Yvonne is our very own Orlaith Condon along with none other than beauty, food and fitness blogger Holly Carpenter.

What do all these fabulous women have in common? Yes, they ALL love food!! (And some love a good tipple too). Expect tasty cocktails and measuring tips for getting those just right too. After Yvonne and the team have concocted some heavenly feasts, nibbles and celebratory drinks on the show, Lidl’s food shop legends - Mary and Adrian - will join in on the fake-off! Let's just say it involves profiteroles and they generally have very high expectations. Our three marvellous presenters will also announce the winners of our social competitions - yes it could be YOU! You'll be giggling, laughing and crying over our top contenders for the Christmas Carol Remix, Christmas Homecoming and Christmas Message videos. Oh, but that's not all. The Irish acoustic folk rock band Hermitage Green will be banging out tunes from their debut studio album Save Your Soul! Expect to hear an exceptional take on a classic Christmas number too! …AND, we’ll be giving away a €500 Lidl voucher to a VERY lucky reader!
