None of her fellow passengers offered up their seat.

Would this happen in Ireland?

A woman has revealed that she was forced to stand on a train while breastfeeding her baby as no-one offered up their seat.

Bryony Esther from Essex in the UK, shared a photograph of her recent train journey on Facebook to highlight how inconsiderate her fellow passengers were.

“Having to stand on a train whilst breastfeeding my baby thanks to the lovely bunch of charmers giving more priority to their suitcases and rolling joints!! It stinks,” she wrote in the accompanying post.

“Plus the cyclist with a fancy bike that keeps rolling into me, sat in the disabled seat. Please share cos I’d love it if their mothers, girlfriends and wives get to see how they behave.”

The mum-of-three was travelling with her five-year-old and her baby when she was forced to stand, reports Metro.

She said she hadn’t asked anyone to move but that she’d been told to move her older child when she sat down.

“I had plonked my five-year-old on a seat as we got on the train so I could see to my baby but was told quite rudely ‘this seat is taken’ then saw they were doing drugs so quickly moved,” wrote Bryony.

Her Facebook post has been shared over 33,000 times since it was uploaded on Saturday, with many criticising the other passengers.

“What a bunch of jerks. Was the train manager not around? People are so selfish on public transport,” wrote one commenter.

“People are so ignorant, it’s a shame someone didn’t offer you a seat,” said another.
