There is a time and a place for everything.
There is a time to drink. A time to watch movies. And of course, most of any mother’s time is given to taking care of her children.
However, this mother tried to do all three at once… and ended up getting arrested for it.
A woman from Cobb County in the US went to the cinema in her local town and decided to fill her child’s sippy cup with a “strong alcoholic beverage.”
According to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, the mother was “unable to walk, talk or care” of her child, which led to him crying in the movie theatre.
Other cinema-goers complained about the cries of the baby, and staff from the cinema went in to ask the mother to leave.
When she left she tried to get into her car, but cinema staff stopped her and called police.
However, instead of going to jail, the police took her to the hospital because she was so drunk.
AJC reports that the mum was released from the hospital on and booked into Cobb County Jail. She was later released on $1,000 bail.
